BSO in the News
Oregon Arts Watch surveys orchestras around Oregon and the BSO is first in the list.
Thank Yous
A big thank you to our other conductor candidates Jonathan DeBruyn, Dwayne Corbin, and our guest-conductor Adam Eccleston. Their dynamism and expertise created a diverse and exciting 2023-2024 season. Each candidate presented the orchestra with amazing opportunities for future growth and development. The diverse programing included works from Sibelius, Mendelssohn, Marquez, and the West-Coast premier of the Marie Jaell Cello Concerto. As we embark on the next phase of our orchestral journey, we look forward to the continuation of the Travis Hatton Young Artists Concerto Competition and the family concert.
Thank you to our awesome volunteers and audience members who create a welcoming, community centered atmosphere!
This season would not be possible without the continued support of our donors and patrons. A special thank you to the Murdock Charitable Trust, Oregon Community Trust, Miller Foundation, Intel, Autzen Foundation, Marie Lanform Charitable Foundation, Rose E. Tucker Charitable Trust, Oregon Cultural Trust, Oregon Cultural Foundation, and the Regional Arts and Cultural Council.
