The BSO will depart from big symphonic repertoire and split into small groups to perform works for string quartet, wind trio, and brass ensemble.

This is an opportunity to experience the heart of BSO, as small ensembles of musican/friends share the joy of playing chamber music on a Sunday afternoon. Charming, uplifting, passionate, lighthearted—such is the variety of music to be presented in a single afternoon.

This annual concert by BSO musicians is a nod to BSO’s founding as a small chamber orchestra, 33 years ago, by musicians who just wanted to play. We still do!
